Carmel moved to the Peninsula as a child and loves living here.
Carmel heard the philosophy of Chiropractic – that the body has an innate intelligence and everything that it needs to be well, as long as there is no interference – as a 13 year old, and immediately knew that that was the path for her. When her father became ill with cancer and died before her 16th birthday, her passion and interest in health care and how to live a fully self-expressed, vital, well life was galvanized.
She completed her 5 year Chiropractic Degree in 1989 at RMIT, achieving an Academic Excellence Award..
She has worked extensively in practices which focus on Wellness Care for families over the 30 years. She has been practising in Mornington for 25 years and has established a respectable reputation in the local community.
She is dedicated to a vision of people living innately, in harmony within themselves, with those they love and the natural world around us.
Carmel is a member of:
– The Chiropractors Association of Australia
– Sacro-occipital Technique Organisation (Australia) where she is a recognized craniopath
– The Australasian College of Chiropractors
– Founding member of the College of Chiropractic Pediatrics
And has completed post-graduate studies through the New Zealand College of Chiropractic to become a diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Paediatrics.
